Privacy Policy

Colorado Clouds (coclouds.com) is a personal photography archive run by Kevin Udy. This page explains what little information the site collects, why, and how you can opt out. The only tracking on the site is Google Analytics.

Who I am

I, Kevin Udy, operate this website. In this policy “the Site” means coclouds.com, and “I”/“me” refers to me as its operator. If you have any question about this policy, reach me through the contact form.

Information I collect

Information you provide. The Site has no accounts and no store. The only way to send me information is the contact form, where you may provide your name, email address, and message. I use those details solely to read and reply to your inquiry.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the Site uses Google Analytics (loaded through Google Tag Manager) to understand how visitors use the pages — for example which photos are viewed, how visitors arrived, and general device, browser, and approximate location data derived from your IP address. This is aggregate, statistical information; I do not use it to identify you personally. Google processes this data on my behalf — see Google’s Privacy Policy.

Cookies & tracking technologies

Spam protection

The contact form is protected by a lightweight, privacy-respecting check: a hidden “honeypot” field plus a small proof-of-work puzzle your browser solves before the message sends. This runs entirely between your browser and this Site — there is no third-party CAPTCHA, and no data is shared with anyone to perform it.

How I use your information

How your information is shared

I do not sell your personal information, and I do not share it for advertising. Limited data is handled by the services that make the Site work: Google (Analytics) and the mail provider that delivers contact-form messages to my inbox. I may also disclose information if required by law. That is all.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information — to access it, correct it, delete it, object to or restrict its processing, or withdraw consent. These include rights under the EU/UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), and the Colorado Privacy Act. Because I do not sell personal information, there is nothing to opt out of on that front. To exercise any right, contact me through the contact form and I will respond.

Data retention

I keep contact-form messages in my email account, including after your inquiry has been resolved, so I have a record of our correspondence. You can ask me to delete your message at any time through the contact form. Analytics data is retained according to Google’s retention settings.

International visitors

The Site is operated from the United States. If you visit from elsewhere, your information is processed in the U.S. and other countries where my service providers operate.

Children’s privacy

The Site is not directed to children, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided information, contact me and I will delete it.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. When I do, I will revise the “Last updated” date above.
